How does it work? It's simple.

  1. Select the tab accordingly with your needs:聽

    • Anonymize: to parameterize/anonymize the sensitive information of the document or text: names, amounts, prices, addresses, telephone numbers, among others, making it compliant with GDPR and protecting data privacy.
    • Legal Insights: extract insights from the legal corpus in seconds, including at the moment, the parties, key conditions, penalties, deadlines, prices, agreements and limitations.

  2. Just upload your legal Word document or paste your text, and wait until the AI seamlessly does the work.聽

  3. Download the anonymized/parametrized Word document or copy the results.

Warning

Anonymization or information extraction is done on the fly, Dedomena AI never retains Word documents or texts, therefore you must download or copy the results before closing the tab or window or you will lose the resulting document or information.

The resulting Word document after anonymization will maintain the original formatting, including tables. To protect data privacy, by default all images included in the document are deleted, although you have the option to keep them.

The counting and identification of recurring entities is supported, for example, if two companies appear recurrently throughout the document, they will be marked as Company 1 and Company 2 or PersonName1 and PersonName2 for two people who appear repeatedly. Identifying the same entities throughout the text and counting how many of each type there are allows knowledge to be maintained throughout the paragraphs while the information is anonymized.

User Interface

This AI Applet allows you to anonymize/parametrize or extract insights from legal Word documents or legal texts in a breeze. With this Applet you obtain the original document or text without sensitive data or a summary of the information extracted after analysis and processing. The information could be provided in different formats, such as docx or even plain text.

Anonymize

This tab allows you to anonymize/parametrize a legal document or plain text. Depending on the format (Word document or plain text), you can select the option by clicking on Document or Text at the top.

The process is straightforward, you just need to upload a Word document (.docx extension) by clicking or dragging and dropping or pasting the text in the input field depending on the format.

Then simply select the language, English or Spanish, and click on the ANONYMIZE button. The result will be available to download when the DOWNLOAD button is enabled or displayed in the output field, where you can copy it to your clipboard.

The original format of the Word document will be preserved, including tables. The images are removed by default.

Info

In some rare cases, some failures may arise when anonymizing when there are highlight lines, color changes, or other more complex formatting all together. The recommendation is to upload the document in the simplest format possible.

The sensitive information will be replaced by a placeholder, such as {{PersonName_1}}, {{Date_2}}, {{Location_1}}, {{Address_3}}, {{Organization_1}}, {{Amount_2}}, {{Phone_3}}, {{Email_1}}, {{ID_4}}, among others.

This tabs allows you to extract insights from a legal Word document in docx format.

You just need to upload the document, select the language, English or Spanish and click on the GET INSIGHTS button.

The output will be a summary of insights from the information extracted from the document, that you can copy to your clipboard using the COPY button or selecting the specific text from the results.

The summary of insights will include the following information:

  • Parts: Parties involved in the document, including names, addresses, Tax Identification Numbers, representatives, and other relevant information.
  • Effective date of agreement: Date when the document was signed.
  • Applicable taxes: Taxes that may apply, for example, VAT, IVA, etc.
  • Applicable law: Law that governs the parties and content.
  • Forum: Jurisdiction and competent forum to hear disputes or claims under the document.
  • Deadlines and Relevant Dates: Significant dates from the document, ensuring parties are aware of all critical deadlines.
  • Purposes of the agreement: Objectives and goals of the document.
