Welcome to Dedomena!¶
Dedomena (δεδομένα: Data in Greek) is an AI and Data company committed to reduce time-to-data and time-to-insight by providing a composable, AI-powered platform to generate synthetic data and extract valuable insights.
Dedomena's mission (dedomena.ai) is to democratize the access to data securely and to unlock all the value from it through synthetic data, bringing to the market the fastest and most effective approach to synthetic data generation.
Dedomena´s proprietary technology and generative algorithms are based on custom deep neural networks architectures, pre-build state-of-the-art ML and probabilistic models that guarantee the utility and privacy of the artificial data generated.
Architecture¶
Dedomena is a multi-component enterprise software that enables seamless integration with data sources networks and security requirements, supporting extremely flexible deployments and multiple use cases.
Instead of transmitting data, Dedomena´s synthetic backbone deals entirely with synthetic data generators, called synthesizers. This maintains data and network security because production data never leaves the trusted environment and our client-hub infrastructure allows for the generation of any amount of safe, synthetic data.
All the pieces of our technological machinery are deployed and run from European soil in low carbon footprint servers.
Dedomena platform is secure by design and integrates as many security focussed features and practices as possible to ensure the secure, safe and reliable operation of Dedomena´s software within its customers infrastructure.
Dedomena products may be provided as a service or as software, although Dedomena aims to provide the most secure software possible, the actual security of a local installation depends on the customer's environment and infrastructure security.
Hardware requirements¶
The hardware requirements depend on the volume of data to synthesize. Dedomena propose to execute Nucleus Edge in hardware where a GPU is available for better performance, however it can be run in almost all data infrastructures, VM and clouds.
For on-premises deployments, these tiers refer to the requirements for Nucleus Edge component to be executed efficiently:
Tier 1 | Tier 2 | Tier 3 | |
---|---|---|---|
Data size | Up to 500K subjects and 10 columns | Up to 10M subjects and 20 columns | Up to 100M subjects and 50 columns per table |
CPU | 6 cores | 12 cores | 24 cores |
Memory | 16 | 32-64 | 64-128 |
Disk | 25GB | 50GB | 75-100 GB |
For cloud deployment, some examples of VMs are provided below; however, any VM with similar memory, CPU and storage capacities would be sufficient:
Tier 1 | Tier 2 | Tier 3 | |
---|---|---|---|
n2-standard-8 | n2-standard-16 | n2-standard-32 | |
AWS | m6a.2xlarge | m6a.4xlarge | m6a.8xlarge |
Azure | D16s v5 | D16s v5 | D32s v5 |
