The Platform
Overview¶
DEDOMENA´s platform has been designed with the aim to help companies reduce time-to-data, time-to-insight and hence time-to-value from months to days, and thus boost the adoption of synthetic data and AI-driven technologies.
DEDOMENA´s platform is composed of three lines of products or verticals:
- NUCLEUS: Data synthetization using AI that allows to
- Anonymize your data.
- Protect and secure data assets making possible to access or share them without risk.
- Balance trainig samples for ML models.
- Provide QA and develompent teams with high quality data.
- Be compliant with data regulations.
- Do PoCs and hackatons, boost innovation while protecting the information.
- NEURONS: Pre-built AI Applets that allows to
- Extract insights from the data easly with Dedomena's APIs.
- Add value to your datasets with new information and labels like expenses categories or fraud status in few steps.
- No need for an extensive team to the get the most from your data, save that budget for other objectives.
- Enrich the data in real-time.
- CORTEX: Buy and Sell
- Acquire secure, high-quality data.
- Monetize your data assets.

Axon¶
AXON is the first module that users need to use to get started on the cloud synthetic data generation. AXON's primary function is to enable users to feed the platform with data that will be used later for synthetic data generation in NUCLEUS. It consists of a single point of access to source data, regardless of its origin, standardizing it to a common layer on the Dedomena platform.
It allows users to:
- Upload data into Dedomena´s environment in CSV format.
- Redirect to CORTEX to acquire datasets that will be available in AXON.
- Connect databases [COMING SOON].
- Connect buckets of data or similar data storage locations [COMING SOON].
My Data¶
In this section, it is available all the data that flows through Dedomena, real or synthetic, including datasets uploaded through AXON and/or acquired in the CORTEX. From MY DATA it is possible access the information about uploaded/acquired datasets, delete or download them. It also allows you to start a synthesization process directly from the desired dataset.

Upload a dataset¶
Clicking the ADD DATASET button will initiate the steps to upload dataset files in CSV format. Just select the first option: Upload a CSV file to synthesize.

The OPEN FILE button allows the user to search for files from their local directory. The Delete File option deletes the file. It is possible to upload up to 6 files related by the corresponding foreign keys.

For each table/dataset a preview will be available and the user can navigate between them through tabs. The This table does not contain a header checkbox should be selected when the CSV file does not contain a header to enter manually each column name. Once the user completes the Import files step, the Next button allows the user to continue the process.
Table info¶
The Table Info pop up allows the user to enter the dataset name and description. This screen is displayed when the user selects a file in Browse File or clicks the pencil icon next to it.

The Name field is the name of the dataset file to be uploaded, while the Description field is a description of the dataset uploaded. The Apply button saves the name and description of the dataset, while the Cancel button cancels the process of browsing and uploading a dataset file.
Define column properties¶
This step enables the user to define data and column properties.
- The Column automatically takes the field/variable name from the file or the one defined in the previous step.
- The Type selection dropdown allows the user to change the data type, but it automatically detects the data type from the file.
- The Target checkbox allows to select the target variable (if any).
- In Sensitive the user can specify if a variable is sensitive and its type: name, address, card number, etc.
- The Primary key checkbox enables the user to select the primary key for each table.
- The Foreign key checkbox allows the user to select the foreign key for each table.
Once the user updates the requested information, the Next button allows to continue the process, while the Back button takes the user to the previous step.

Data information¶
The Data Info screen allows to provide additional information about the dataset being uploaded. The user can enter information such as country, industry, or data usage of the dataset, allowing for better identification later.

After the dataset upload process is completed it will redirect to the Axon tab.
Nucleus¶
It is the core of Dedomena´s platform. This module allows to train synthesizers that are later on used to generate unlimited copies of synthetic data. These synthesizers can be created in Dedomena´s platform (uploading data through AXON module) or in the data source environment (through the NUCLEUS EDGE component included in NUCLEUS).
Through NUCLEUS, companies at every stage are able to train synthesizers from various algorithms with just a few parameters or lines of code, allowing the generation of realistic synthetic data for several use cases.

Neurons¶
The Neurons are a set of pre-built Artificial Intelligence applets and models, that are ready-to-use and that you can plug-and-play from your existing systems, to enrich your data (real and synthetic), extract knowledge, take decisions, produce actionable insights, and create any kind of intelligent applications.
Create effective applications that can be (easily and quickly) embedded in business operations to drive strategic growth. Key benefits are streamlining processes, optimizing productivity, complying with data protection and security, identifying or predicting trends, enriching your knowledge with valuable information, making informed decisions with confidence, thus staying ahead of the competition.
